Luggage Left in Dubai

We had this flight with Emirates from the Philippines to Italy. Since it is a bit far a distance, we needed to connect flight at Dubai International Airport. Although it was a flight with two Emirates planes, mistakes still occured when our luggage did not go with us as we arrived in Milan Malpensa Airport.

This story is a little funny and irritating for us. No problems with the plane for, I love the service and the fascilities. When we arrived at the Milan Malpensa Airport, the first news that greeted us was that we need to go to the information desk. There, we were informed that our luggage was left in Dubai! Practically, I had nothing with me! The clothes, the "pasalubongs" and all the things that were to be with me, except my documents were all in the luggage that were left over. The good thing is, the Emirates staff promised to deliver our luggage in three days. And they did. At least the damage done was controlled. No hurt feelings for Emirates. I will take the plane again if given the chance. It is cheaper, I have to tell you! Haha!

Did you get any tokens or whatever?

Check out ARABIAN JOSH blog. There is a hilarious post about different airlines.

Thanks for the vote.

it's good that they delivered you luggage. ^_^

You dont need to be rich to do that. These days cebu pacific really offers flexible and affordable rates. Just start the nearest country like malaysia. Its good to go somewhere to see how others do. I was shock in malaysia coz they are much better than pinas. Even n the roads they have u can see it. But their food, super cheap talaga!

A reply to Anino: Nope. No tokens. Maybe if I was in Dubai I could have had. But it was delivered by Italians and the only token I can have is the cheap air fare. Who knows if there are tokens anyway? Lots of things in the luggage pockets get lost over Italian airports. How much more a token? Hehehe

I don't understand why all of you says I am lucky for this... Hmm.. but anyway it's an international flight and a luggage is a bit secure naman. Just left inside the plane.. the other plane so the next day nila na flight they took it. Also they assured me na "naiwan lang" and "not lost".. Well, big companies and good companies plus successful companies treat customers first. That is why they are successful. Thanks for visiting Pinkrose. ^-^
